United Way partners with Kimberly Clark Corporation - Huggies® Every Little Bottom

Huggies Every Little Bottom

A groundbreaking new study reveals a startling issue – 1 in 3 American mothers struggle to provide diapers for their babies.  These mothers have had to cut back on basics such as food, utilities like heat or electricity, or even child care in order to provide enough diapers. HUGGIES® is committed to raising awareness about diaper need and mobilizing communities to get involved so that, together, we can help more babies have enough diapers.

The Huggies Every Little Bottom program was created with a single mission: to help get diapers to babies in need. Huggies will donate up to 22.5 million diapers in the U.S. and Canada in the coming months as the first step to a multi-year commitment to help address diaper need.  Learn more at www.EveryLittleBottom.com. You can help too by donating or spreading the word:

  • Donate to approved diaper banks across the country. Find the one closest to you here. Can't find one close by? You can also donate online through each organizations' Amazon Wishlists.
  • The opportunity for you to take action will continue to grow as the HUGGIES® Every Little Bottom program works with national and community partners across the U.S. to address diaper need. Please help us spread the word. Tell a friend today and join the conversation at:Facebook

United Way is proud to partner with Kimberly Clark Corporation, a Global Corporate Partner, on their Huggies® Every Little Bottom program to raise awareness about diaper need and to help address that need in communities across the U.S and Canada.  By addressing diaper need, United Way will help to create healthier, happier babies and help families who are struggling financially meet their basic needs.

Featured Partnership – United Way Alternative Spring Break Sponsored by Deloitte

During Spring Break 2010, hundreds of young adults and student volunteers from across the United States traded swimming trunks for tool belts and teamed up with United Way to make a meaningful impact in communities across the country. From continuing to rebuild the Gulf Coast after hurricanes Katrina, Rita and Ike, to addressing the issues plaguing urban America, volunteer rolled up their sleeves to make an impact.

  • National ASB program – March 28th – April 3rd, 2010 in Biloxi, Mississippi.  More than four years after Katrina, hundreds of families have a long way to go to get back into their homes. United Way of South Mississippi is working to remedy this problem and put a roof over the heads of displaced families, while also helping to address basic community needs that existed before the storm ever touched the Gulf Coast.  Learn about how students volunteered their spring break to help rebuild the Mississippi Gulf Coast by clicking here.
  • Do It Yourself Alternative Spring Break –Student United Ways organized their own alternative spring breaks. Nearly 100 students from Student United Ways at The University of Akron, Purdue University, University of Nevada - Reno, Drake University in Iowa, Drew University in Madison, NJ, University of Florida, University of Arizona, and University of TexasEl Paso spent their break volunteering. Click here to learn more about the students' trips and contact us to get involved for 2011.
  • Team Leader Roles – All ASB alumni had the chance to make an even more significant impact and help increase the scope and scale of ASB by signing up as an ASB Team Leader. Learn more about this leadership role if you are interested in joining us for ASB 2011 as a Team Leader by clicking here.
